All that money spent recruiting and they still are going to roll Marcel Reed out there.

Both Ls

Only one game last year did he complete more than 70%.
Only threw more than 300 yards twice
4 games he threw multiple picks.

Schedule included UTSA, Samford, Utah St, Florida with an Interim HC, LSU with an interim HC, Arkansas, Auburn, Miss St, and South Carolina.

So 9 of 13 games they played against teams with a losing record and/or fired HC.

Also, TAMU is debuting Holmon Wiggins as their new OC.

He's a good recruiter, but his evals have been sh*t, despite signing a lot of high ranked kids.

He also has absolutely ZERO experience as a playcaller.

TAMU is going to have a massive drop off in play this year.

I guess this is a hot take, but I got them going 7-5.

I was thinking same thing. Glad there not smart enough to put all that $ to landing the best QBs. I think there fine with just winning recruiting titles

Really not that hot. Their RSW total is 8.5, with slight juice to the under. So 7-5 wouldn’t be totally shocking. They lucked out bigly with that schedule and it flips on em this year.

They got 2 cupcakes in the non-con, but the 3rd isn’t a layup. Arizona State, but in college station.

Then in their 9 SEC games, 5 are on the road.

At LSU, Mizzou, Bama, USCe, and OU
Then at home they get Kentucky, Arkansas, Tennessee and end the year with Texas.

Can absolutely see them going 2-3 on the road and 5-2 at home.
