L-O-L.

This should be a lesson on why you don't hype up some kid who has never played a down of football. Kid was terrible last night. The single biggest reason we lost the game.

Stats: 17/28 (58% efficiency), 174 total yard (LMAO) 1 TD, 2 INT for a QB rating of 15.4

That's nothing short of god awful. AND that's throwing against 8 in the box, AND that's throwing mainly bubble screens and easy outs because the coaches KNEW he would have been crucified out there if they unleashed the real offense.

Then he wants to give some soft *** interview after the game about how it was fun to get out there, blah blah. Snickers 2.0

Y'all want to blame Coley and his playcalling for this game, you're wrong, and you'll see that soon enough. Kaaya is the reason we lost, pure and simple. As long as he's in there, we're going to continue to lose, bank on that.

The only thing I blame coach Coley for was playing favorites and starting Brad Kaaya. You telling me Jake Heaps or Kevin Olsen would have played worse than THAT? Coley just wanted his guy in the game, and he got it, and we lost.

You're an old man.. the game has passed you!

blaming a true freshman and saying we'll never win with him says it all.. kid didnt lose.

The staff doesnt trust themselves so they dont trust him. He was leashed.

Our coaches suck. give the kid a break... it was his first college game.. got hit in the outh numerous times and never tucked his tail!

We'll never win without any kind of passing threat on offense. Duke can't win games by himself with 8 or 9 stacked in the box. You have to be able to throw the football.

That's horrible production no matter how you spin it.

You expected too much.. not only from Kaaya but from this staff. I understand your frustration but this isnt on this kid.

Impossible to judge his performance becasue the game plan was so horrific. AG said they knew there was going to be 8 and 9 in the box, did Coley know? I said it last year, MDfr is 100 x's the coach Coley is and proved it once again last night.

Kid reminds me of Kyle Wright. Has the measurables but not sure his processor works fast enough. It certainly doesn't help his offensive line and wr's block like ****.

The play calling did not help either. If they stack 9, you've gotta make them pay. Until you do they will win the LOS battle.

you get that off his first start as a true freshman? kid was at his high school graduation 3 months ago

For his first start he looked and acted like Kyle Wright. 1. Had happy feet. 2. Made bad throws under pressure. 3. Had a hard time finding the open guy

Maybe he'll improve. God willing. But comparing his first start, that is the QB he resembled most to me.

He played like a true freshman, non EE in his first game on a Monday night in a conference game against a very aggressive defense going against a porous O-line. Did he make mistake? Absolutely. Did he miss opportunities that could have cost us the game? Certainly. That's exactly why you don't put a true freshman in a major conference game on the road to start the season.

He was leashed but he obviously isn't ready... The kid was overhyped... It doesn't mean he is bad it just means that the staff failed him by starting him... I never liked that "Messiah" moniker... Mostly because of my religious beliefs... The kid will be good but he wasn't physiclly ready or mentally ready... I didn't know his arm was so weak... Then again we had a bunch of closed practices... The kid just got here a couple months ago... Who starts a freshman like that? I believe Penn State did with Hackenberg but Kaaya isn't Hackenberg... Kaaya will be alright but he isn't ready at the moment... Hopefully his confidence doesn't gets shaken... FAMU should have been his first game...

He should have not been playing. 13 week true freshman who didn't even come in early. Golden is using it as a cop out. It was telling how underwhelming the other players were when they heard he was starting. Golden knew he would have no more excuses with the cloud **** gone so insert true freshman to buy couple more years and excuses. Heaps won the job and the other players knew it. Kaaya is a true freshman. It's not about what he knows but what he hasn't seen.
