Kaaya led a comeback down 17-3 and took a lead late in the fourth. Defense screwed that up. Not on him.
He got another chance with plenty of time and failed to deliver................AGAIN!

If we hold Kaaya to the same level as JHarris, i would have to say that Jacory has done more at this same point in their cfb careers.
Jacory Harris threw for 386 against a much better FSU defense in 2009 and actually won the game.
The number of yards you throw for makes you great? How about leading a comeback win, winning a big game or something like that. I guess that doesn;t matter anymore. You are great because every says you are.
He just threw for almost 400 against a top defense that was able to drop 8 into coverage and still get past his OLine. Yet we still have fans questioning him.
2010 defense was good outside of like 2 games. The same for 07. The defense wasn't as spectacular as previous years but they were still good.If he had Shannon's defense we would win every game
Did you see Shannon's Defense when he was a head coach? They were not that impressive at all. In fact, we haven't had a good Defense since 2005.

i would love to hear you explain how FSU's defense of 09 was much better than 2015. the 09 defense gave up 30pts a game, 5.4 per rush, 6.75 per play. Opposing quarterbacks had a 150 passer rating against them and they lost 6 games. what do you got?
I can't believe people are killing Kaaya. When was the last time the defense gave him a short field. Kid has to drive 80 yards with a **** o line every **** time. Yall some **** clowns
You can give him props for 400 yards and then make excuses for his OL. Wasn't that same OL on the field when he threw for 400 Yards?
furthermore would love to hear of a QB who started off with that record and had great Junior and senior years

Under Kaaya's tenure, you can point to a number of games that ended in losses due to the defense IMO.
- 2014 and 2015 FSU
- 2014 Nebraska
- 2014 UVA
- 2014 Pitt
In contrast, I can really only think of two games, 2014 VaTech and Duke, that the defense was exceptional and was the main reason we were dominant in that game.
As for the offensive scheme... it played a major role in the losses like
- 2014 Louisville (way too conservative against a good team in a hostile environment, 13-31 L)
- 2014 UVA (13 points against them... really?)
- 2014 Bowl game (Play-calling was dull and vanilla...)
