"Please accept my apology for the manner in which we represented you on Saturday," Kansas State coach Bill Snyder wrote in a letter to fans after a blowout loss at home. "I know you are pained by the outcome, as I am. I hope that you will appreciate our players for never giving up even in the face of such adversity and the loss of so many of their teammates."

If Al wrote letters after every blowout he'd have the worst case of carpal tunnel syndrome in history

He'd have a form letter by now with a rubber stamped signature.

With a list of excuses with a box next to each one for him to check off for that game. Maybe a couple fill in the banks for throwing players under the bus.

Nobody likes an apologist. ***** Mentality.

K State has given up 143 points in their last 3 games. He should apologize.

Before he got there (and after he left) they averaged giving up more than that every week.

Bill Snyder should do whatever the heck he wants.

It's called taking ownership, as opposed to throwing his players under the buss every chance he gets?

No doubt that Bill Snyder is the best thing that ever happened to KState, and it's not even close. I'm an old guy and well aware of how bad KState was and for how long. Still, they can't stop anyone now.

Snyder is a good coach . But the letter is an excuse as much as it is an apology. Frankly he is a bit full of himself.
