Yeah because we have five national championships with no coaches that were former NFL head coaches. All coordinators or coaches at lower schools, you know "up and comers". You just can't see the difference between and up and comer and a good head coach.
 
So Fuente made a ****** program relevant again, and now he's going to coach Miami? Sounds like someone else I know.

Fuente is actually winning at Memphis and not just coming close. I realize Ole Miss is overrated but they went in there and beat them soundly.
 
Fuente ain't coming here. No coach with a pulse wants this #### job at this ####school. Besides, if Goldie goes, we know it's between Mario and Coley for next HC. The only thing Fuente has going for him with Miami is his last name.

The BOT will try to please potential fans with this hire, but I don't think our attendance would improve at all.

They could have hired Mario before Golden but didn't. He's even further removed from coaching now

Miami doesn't need a Bill O'Brien type hire. What did Penn State win with him? And how did he really help their program?

1. Kevin Sumlin will be coaching in the NFL soon. He's the next Mike Tomlin.

2. Bill O'Brien went 8-4 with a true freshman QB and a depleted roster...... Miami would go 11-1 with him as HC

3. NFL coaches > college coaches

1. Sumlin makes $5MM per year at TAMU, and has NEVER coached in the NFL. Why would he go to the NFL??

2. O'Brien went 7-5 the following year at PSU ... With that true freshman being a true Sophomore QB.

3. There are no absolutes on this topic. Urban Meyer has never been an NFL coach ... Gary Patterson has never been an NFL HC ... Mark Dantonio, either. Art Briles has only coached high school and college. Add Kyle Whittingham to that list ...

Would not be surprised if he turned us down to stay at Alabama. That's just how bad this program has become.

So are you one of those people that thinks that every single solitary things that comes out of UM (and Miami as a whole) sucks ***? I mean you allude to it every and all posts you make but I figured i'd ask anyways. Do you live down here and are a miserable human being or do you live elsewhere and are a miserable human being? Only similarity between Tomlin and Sumlin is their skin color
 
Ill take fuente, i like his defense, we need a college guy, we have had NFL guys we need a guy who can win in college and beat big name programs and fuente beat a really talented ole miss squad with whatever talent, also a gary patterson deciple, still want herman but hes probably USC bound
