Just saw the outside of the soccer stadium

There are perennials punchlines in the US. Things like soccer, the WNBA, and Canada. It just so happens that there is occasionally actual news surrounding them so the jokes can come out.

You know where this gif came from, right? Soccer has kind of asked for it.

No question soccer has some quirky things associated with the sport and participants.
The tendency for fall players to fake injuries and I can personally do without some of the pretty-boy antics of some of the players.
But baseball has some weird stuff going on as well and what to think about the QB literally placing his hands under the center's ****? (@HurricanePhilly )

I would add that baseball is akin to soccer insofar one has to had grown up playing and/or immersed in the culture of the sport to really get it, especially the aspects of the so-called "game-within-the-game" to understand the nuances and strategy of creating and defending runs and goals.
Which is why, generally speaking, fans of one sport hates the other.
A little different with football, basketball, and hockey where one can appreciate the sport without knowing much about it.

It's also kind of funny considering how wildly popular youth soccer is here. I suspect there's a fair share of sports fatigue as well. How much free time does a person need to follow NFL, NBA, MLB, the college versions of those 3, NHL, NASCAR, and add in MLS? Adding in a Beckham or Messi helps, but it's going to take more I think.

It’s a football message board full of mostly guys

I can’t believe people make jokes here

What’s next? Booty GIFs?! Talk of *****! Beer?!

Took them too long. Going to be such an old roster by opening and I don’t know if MLS got out of Messi what they assumed so I don’t even know who would pay for another on his level.

The only time I'm forced to watch soccer is at the palm beach boat show with an Argentinian friend. This past year it was Argentina vs Uruguay

I will say the injury antics are in abundance but when they aren't acting like their leg is chopped off the competition is fierce and exciting
