There was a reason Brad was projected as a first round pick. I think the reason people are upset is because he is not living up to the hype this year. He has under preformed so far. The dude can play football and can still turn into a good NFL QB. I think he can turn it around this week if he is focused.
 
Stats don't tell the whole story in college football. When there is a huge talent disparity in half the games you play, of course a good QB is going to put up solid numbers. You gotta look at Brad's stats at more of a micro-level.

Stats don't define signature wins, game-winning drives, mental/physical toughness, and the will to win that guys like Ken Dorsey had.

Brock fvckin Berlin never let FSU beat him. Kaaya is 0-3 against them and in games in which twice he could've beaten them on the final drive. That is the kinda stuff that can't be measured on an excel spreadsheet.
 
Conclusion drawn:

Brad kayaa can't win ****, and is nothing more than the best of the recent stat compiler QB's to come through here.

He will leave with no division titles, no conference titles, no wins vs. ranked teams, no wins vs our in state rival, and no bowl wins.

I blame the coach, his game calling sucks, too much running of first down, too much running period with such a horrible run blocking line and with average RB's. Throw the ball to open up the run with this team, not the other way around. A junior high coach could have called a better game.

So you're saying that Kaaya has had a bigger team talent advantage than Dorsey?

No, my larger point is that Kaaya can go on and break all the passing records at UM but what substance do all those stats carry if he hasn't had a career-defining moment? For example, he posted 368 yards and 3 TDs against AppSt, monster numbers against sub-par competition.

Yes, Dorsey had the greatest team in CFB history but he beat a #1 ranked FSU, #2 ranked VaTech, and the #7 ranked Florida team all in the same year. Led the team to 34 consecutive wins and what should've been back-to-back national championships.

I want Brad to go out and do it against teams that matter...

Nice and honorable kid, but Kaaya doesn't have that fire in his belly...he doesn't have command presence.

Get angry, get ****ed off...show me something...anything...any kind of emotion. You've gotta have balls...you need to have a little swagger/a bit of arrogance to play that position at a high level.

He also doesn't seem like a natural leader. Evidenced by the fact that this is his first time as a team captain.
 
Thats why we are frustrated with Kaaya. We hear all of this talk from NFL pundits and scouts that he is a 1st round talent at QB. He has the arm. He has the weapons around him (2 NFL TEs, 2 NFL WRs, 2 RB's who are great receivers out of the backfield). Maybe he doesn't have a top caliber OL. But great QBs find a way to win. If it requires running for a first down every now and then when a play breaks down, then do it. He is like Helen Keller in the pocket. He has no awareness. No ability to slide or step up to avoid a rush or create a new pocket. This doesn't require blazing speed. Peyton Manning did it better than anyone and hes slow as ****. It just requires awareness and mechanics. And for someone who is as praised as he is for being "cerebral" and a student of the game, he really sucks at this aspect of the position. I love the kid. I hope he gets it figured out. But I would honestly be ****ed if my NFL team took a flyer on him with a 1st round pick at this point.

I love Ken Dorsey. What would Ken Dorsey's stats and record have been if he played here from 2010-2012 or 2013-2015 or 2006-2008 or.....
