Just got back from the game

Can’t even imagine watching that in person.

Jarren was definitely short of the first. Run that 100 times and he easily gets it 99 times.

It was that kind of night.

In person you are trying to figure out wtf kind of play call that was. Deejay and Cam were averaged about 7 yards a carry and you decide to let Jarren run it. It was mind boggling

Yeah it was an odd play call. Should have worked though regardless. No clue how Jarren got tripped up there, the hole was wide open.

Depressed and it was a weird game on all fronts.

-That 4th and 17 felt like death. In our section we all thought it was over before that completion. How could they have been so conservative on defense? They should have put more pressure on Howell and forced a quicker throw.

-Special teams, not much more to add, but wow. I thought the offensive playcalling in the last drive was great until we started to go for too many homerun plays. Given where we were, we should have tried 1-2 short passes or 1 more run and 1 short pass up the middle to give Baxa a better angle. Kind of stupid though Baxa should have hit it (as well as the others).

-Along the same lines the play calling was a disaster the first quarter and borderline great in quarters 2-4. The offensive line played much better and Jarren is going to be great. I can't believe anyone would bash this kid. The future is bright with him and on offense. In the midst of my depression I actually realized we are closer to having a very good offense than I ever would have thought before. I agree about a few less long developing play action plays, but for the most part in quarters 2-4 Enos did a great job. Oh yeah, just when I thought Mallory redeemed himself with the corner TD he blows the conversion. Not sure what his issue is.

-I love how hard Camron Harris runs

-Mike Harley has improved a lot as a wr. He went from nothing to potentially being better than solid by his senior year.

-My one complaint is we have no deep ball game. Nothing. The disparity between UNC's offense and ours in that regard was staggering (they should have had another long td but the guy fell down).

-Secondary is still way too green and they are going to have to take their lumps this year. Too much inexperience despite the on-paper accolades they have. Carter is also an idiot.

-I thought the officials missed some UNC holds and they blew Jarren's 4th down spot. He got that 1st down. They also missed a horse collar near the end.

-Linebacker play/development continues to underwhelm. Shaq, Pinckney, etc., have so far peaked two years ago. They were almost non-existent in the run game.

-I still think we win 9,10 regular season games and play Clemson. This team is talented, but still green and Manny is still green as a HC but you can see pieces here and there.

-Howell is going to be great unfortunately, and Mack Brown hired a great staff. The end.

you didn't mention anything about our kicker, oh yea, our kicker never showed up! 🤣🤣🤣

9-10 win team....no sir. Not at all.

We actually did blitz on the 4th and 17.....it was just a horrible.....slow developing blitz that was actually picked up....they tried from the left side instead of going up the middle which is what they should have done...

But again our DL seems to have no push/tfl compared to previous 2 years

You guys with the 12-0; oh wait, 11-1; we can still go 10-2... delusional

They ran for 179 yards. Jarren threw for 300 with 76% completion percentage. After the 1st quarter they were no where near the issue today.

Yards don’t mean anything when it comes to offense, points are all that matter. Deejay and Cam couldn’t be stopped and Enos wouldn’t give them the ball.

Im not saying Jarren didn’t play well, I’m saying Howell made more winnings plays than Jarren did and looked like the better QB. Idc what the numbers say. Our defense contributed to him looking that good and our corners were god awful. Blades is better than DJ, yet DJ played almost the entire game.

If our staff doesn’t figure it out, we’ll be fighting for bowl eligibility come week 15

OP how much separation were our WRs creating? Jarren had time today and yet the deep ball was never there.

Zero. I’m so tired of hearing about our “athletes” we aren’t any faster or more athletic than anybody in our division. It was a real shock seeing it in person. I really thought our guys were a lot better than Carolina and they weren’t

All our offensive productivity came after the 1st quarter so yes it did do very well. And Howell made more winning plays because right now he's the better qb. That, however, doesn't mean Jarren didn't play very well today and take a big jump in comparison to week 1. He looked much better today.

On obvious sort yardage running downs, UNC was plugging all the gaps and stopping it. On that play it like we tried some misdirection off the running back. That QB turned LB bought on the fake and lunged and got an arm on Wlliams to trip him up before he got the first. Just that kind of night.

It is what it is we lost I'd almost bet we barely get enough wins to qualify for a bowl game.keep coaching and playing like we did tonight we might not be bowl eligible.

We're so average it's not even funny. If we were as talented as people on here claim it would jump out on the screen... It doesn't.

I said Jarren played well, but to act like our offense did anything good considering we only scored 25 points against a sub par defense is delusional
