Is Mack Rhoades in play or is that wishful thinking?

At UM, we assume “no” rather then try.

Maybe he would consider another opportunity, maybe he won’t.

With that said, as stated numerous times before, if __________ (insert candidate here) is your number 1 choice, you don’t interview them and make the candidate sell you. You offer them the job immediately, with your best offer, and sell them on the position.

Mack is a real AD so he won’t put up with unqualified forced hirings (with real power) or be told who he must consider for an HC candidate.

I'm amazed at the hate he receives on CIS. If he's hired hopefully his haters will choose a different team to support.

To review: He has no actual experience running a college athletic department. In fact, he hasn’t been employed in college ever.

If Zo never went to Miami, you would never bring his name up as a serious candidate. In fact, you would vomit at the mention of his name as a candidate.

SIAP: "Threatening to resign" sounds a bit unprofessional, but it seems Turnkey is quite the legit professional reputable enterprise:

They became a de facto subsidiary of ZRG Search just this year, but have been in business, doing nicely, for over 25 years.

...makes one wonder if perhaps their reported "stance" (on Jurich) was imposed on them by their new parent company. In any event, they don't seem like some recent johnny-come-lately that is hungering for business, or corruptly tied to an individual who may have some vested interest in UM athletics.
Only one decent team in that whole list.

Jurich has been spoken to, any other information to the contrary is incorrect. I know of zero threats by anyone involved in the process of hitting the road if anyone is granted an interview. 100% not true.
Appreciate the drop-ins jps. Do we have a rough timeline moving forward? Seems like there was some hope or expectation that the AD hire would get announced early this week and then Manny would be fired after (you mentioned in another post that firing manny with no AD would be unstable). Is this still the general plan? Given all the smokescreens that have been put out in the last week. Thanks
