This was the game that brought everything together. The Taint win was way bigger in terms of national recognition but this was the win where the squad realized we werent just a talented ACC team, we could play anyone and beat anyone anywhere. 8-4 had a great season in the ‘vaunted’ SEC and we beat them in their own house with the elements working against us.

Maybe someone can explain why a local WR recruit would pick ND over Miami. I can sort of understand picking OSU based on their track record of getting WRs drafted. Just don’t get the attraction of ND.

Legacy plus… Plaxico Burress, Larry Fitzgerald and Jerome Bettis have sons who are WRs there so it seems like thing.
