Mario does have a tendency to sign a couple JUCO players per cycle, fair amount of success (TBD on Freeney and Kirk).
2018
- #79 Haki Woods (DB): Special teams as a junior, senior year looks like he played a fair bit
- #131 Sione Vea Kava (DL): No Stats.
2019:
- #11 Malaesala Aumavae-Laulu (OG): ended up being a 2x Coaches All-Conference honorable mention, started all 13 games his senior year and drafted in the 6th round.
- #20 Dru Mathis (ILB): Mostly special teams and reserve
2020:
- #30 Bennett Williams (S): Instant contributor and after suffering an injury, bounced back his senior year with a team-high 73 tackles and Coaches All-Conference honorable mention.
- #35 TJ Bass (OG): Instant contributor, ended up First Team All-Conference his second year and on various All-American teams his final year. Undrafted but currently on the Cowboys.

- #55 Colbie Young (WR): too lazy to look up stats but he’s been a hit for us.
