Wow.

Unreal burst, great motor and he's playing with more power.

Loved him before we offered and still feel he's our most underrated current commit. Stud. Hope he sticks.

Very high ceiling with this kid. 4.5 laser at 16 y/o and 220lbs. What a lot of people don't know is that at the Fire south and north tryouts, this kids was getting ints in 1v1s vs wrs. He did this while never being coached how to cover. He just went out there and let his athleticism take over. Looked good on half field drills with 2 wrs and 3 defenders. His dad's supposedly 6'5. Was very productive against teams like: Flanagan, Apopka, Killian, Coral Gables, South Dade, etc... I thought this kid would be a top 5-6 player in the class 3 years from now, but it's looking like he's already there.

I've said this before, but he's reminds me a lot of Ryan Shazier. There are a lot of undersized DEs in SFL with nice sack totals, but not with his speed, motor, and twitch. Shazier played for the SFE in 2010 and he was the fastest player on the team in group with: Duke, Deon, Avery Johnson, etc... Uche ran the fastest 40 in Dade and maybe SFL, if I'm not mistaken. Faster than Bruce.

Love the insight. Thanks.

I saw him against Belen and his twitch was off the charts. Based on his junior film, I was worried about his power but he looks to be stronger and playing lower as a senior.

Dude looks like he could guard the other team's best ball handler...and he plays D-Line? HOLLA!!!!

Yeah, I never worry about power with kids that have frames and are fast twitch. I don't think I've ever seen one that's lacked power relative to their position. Jahkari Gore wasn't the twitchiest of athletes, but he definitely had it. I saw him at 160lbs level Delvin Jones, a 4 Star 230lb DE that signed with Tennessee, in pass pro. Anyone can lift weights and get stronger, but that natural explosion and twitch is the premium asset in football (it also shows in the bar speed when they lift). One RB that I use to train was 15 y/o and 5'9 165lbs when he benched 340, after only lifting for 6 months in his entire life. He left to OSU at 175 lbs after losing 8 pounds from rehabbing an injury, when he came back during the winter he was 210lbs running a 4.45 laser.

I went to the tryouts for the SFE and both Fire north and south. Emmanuel Greene and Uche were the most explosive athletes that I saw (Bruce was hurt).

WOW @ how quick he got off that three blockers around 1:03. Not sure on the competition but that was impressive. I don't know how we'll use him going forward but him mixed with other linebackers this class has the potential to be special

Besides his burst and athleticism, what stood out to me was how he didnt get reckless and just go all out after the qb on a couple of the quick swing passes or screens, he actually broke down and went after the receiver or rb before the ball was even thrown.

Didn't throw up the U after any sacks....he gone

But seriously, Good looking athlete

Doesn't Columbus have another big time DE that Miami offered?

The play at :46, he looks about as shifty as a cornerback. Great pop & agility for a big man.

Dont follow recruiting soo closely anymore but why all the talk about him sticking? Does he waver in articles or insider info?

He got offers from all the big time programs (after committing to Miami)

If I'm not mistaken, Alabama seems to be coming in strong on him. And with that type of film, god knows what they will throw at him to sway him!

Would be shocked if he flips. Very open kid and family is big on Miami's academics.
