Cant fault a kid for injuries but i am for one am very glad to hear we are asking kids who aren't delivering to take a pay cut. You want NIL / pay for play? All for it, but free market capitalism works both ways.

See Horton leaving… you’re not keeping 5 or 6 guys deep any more. You ride with at least a two deep and hope your HS recruits can be playable enough for mop up duty

Have you see our edge position? We have over 10, may lose 1-2, but not keeping 5-6 is false. Unless you were specifically talking about the DT position not being able to keep 5-6 and if so, why is that? **** last year we had 5-6 that we played every game. What are we talking about lol.

All played plenty last year in most if not all of our games, especially the first 5.
*Mesidor, was DT last year but didn’t even count him.

Right now we have 3 that we can count on. Behind those 3 is Artavius Jones, who I don’t think played at all last season and true freshmen. That’s no bueno.

This whole discussion is about DT bro…

Moten, blay, Scott, and whoever else wants that 4th spot but let’s be honest we’ll slide Bain or Messidor in during obvious passing situations to get more speed inside.

Prime example of people not hanging around is the RB spot… Parrish was gone once Martinez got here with fletch and Lyle who probably was looking great in practice. Your not keeping 5 or 6 deep with “proven” talent in today’s CFB

RB is a different animal, typically only 1 plays at a time. I agree that you aren’t keeping 5+ proven backs in todays game, but we are talking DT. A position that requires 2 on the field at a time at UM. That’s why I compared it to the Edge spot above even though the “whole discussion is about DT bro”.


But what’s the difference in keeping 10+ DE’s but not able to keep 5-6 DT’s? Lol, that’s what I’m not grasping.
Why can we do one but not the other? After playing 6+ DT’s last year? Those 3 and “whoever wants that 4th spot” aint enough. 1 injury and we’re ****ed.
 
Another tough loss but the guy could never seem to get healthy for more than a few weeks. He's got great traits and potential. Hopefully he goes somewhere and puts it all together
