Everyone
Particularly the current roster of players
Everyone
Bingo. Exactly how I feel. If we lose games that’s fine as long as I know we’re being run competently and putting our players in best chance for success. I naively thought Mario would do that but I was dead wrong on that one.I’ll support him when he puts our players in the right spots. Losses don’t bother me as much as stupidity.
Who hates Miami?
Honestly, all 4 losses were bull... The A&M loss, while frustrating, was acceptable at first because of how close it was. But after losing to MTSU, UNC, and Duke, that loss is nearly just as bad when you consider they weren't jitters or just growing pains but serious coaching and execution issues.Na. **** that. MTSU and Duke was bull.
Stop complaining and start winning some games.
Even some of the alleged insiders….particularly about their precious recruits they can’t admit suck and belong at G5 programs…(in before some mope says Miami is a G5 program)I know this is a joke, but I genuinely think there are some people on this board who enjoy watching us lose. They would rather be right about their predictions instead of seeing the program find success.
THIS^^^^^^^^^^ The whole story got twisted and blown into something it wasn't. It was an offhand comment with regard to recruitinglMario had said that the media was the only one making a fuss about losing recruits when nothing has actually happened (Miami media helping us out, as usual). The media takes that and turns it into Mario blaming the media for losses. "Fans" take their info from a tweet instead of watching the press con.
Mario spoke facts , i know the truth is frowned upon these days but the media is the only one obsessing over losing recruits, or bringing it up. Not one kid has decommitted. He didn’t attack the media he just said the truth.THIS^^^^^^^^^^ The whole story got twisted and blown into something it wasn't. It was an offhand comment with regard to recruitingl
Do you think 8-9 wins was too high of a standard? I mean Vegas had us around that total. The media had Miami as a huge favorite to win the coastal , we easily have the second most talent in the conference . On top of that the schedule was pathetic , It’s Clemson and the rest is average to below average.
The culture is bad but was it so bad that it won 5 out of six last year and was a late meltdown from 6 out of 7?
imo the truth like always is in the middle. We have a culture problem and quitters. There’s also too much talent to be losing to horrible rosters and the coaching has been atrocious. If people want to deny that they’re living in a cult or have cognitive dissonance.
This staff is one of the highest paid in the country and this has been one of the worst ROI I’ve ever seen.

Watch the last 10 minutes on 1.5x you lazy ****
Best post I’ve seen on this board in a minute. You have a perfect storm, IMO.
I think these coaches were not prepared for what they walked into. I think they walked in thinking what we all thought, that the team was close to being good and they would be able to install what they wanted. The reality is a lot of guys on this roster don't have the talent and confidence required. But that should have been snuffed out during the summer and the coaches, mainly Gattis, should have adjusted. Once MTSU and UNC came around it was too late and they had lost the team. Injuries also haven't helped.
I look back at that Texas A&M game: Gattis' inability to get the offense into the endzone, Mario's inability to make critical decision and kicking field goals, and the players making crucial mistakes...that's the season in a nutshell.
Ultimately it comes down to the staff though. This offseason is where they'll truly earn their money. It is not going to be easy for Mario. He has to dominate the portal and he needs to put his stubbornness aside and bring in an OC that fits modern day football.
I have my reasons for why this turned into such a huge mess. There’s multiple reasons that goes all the back to the hiring of the assistants. I believe if you asked Mario he’d likely tell you some of issues are self inflicted. This **** show jambalaya has all kinds of ingredients in it and there’s too many to count. You have a perfect storm, IMO.

Many here have selective hearing. Only hearing what fits their agenda.I'm a big fan of Josh Pate because of his well thought out takes. I particularly liked what he said about this team being terrible and this team being a lost cause not the program. I think that its very important to differentiate between the two. This program may have a very bright future but this particular team is way past the point of being salvaged no matter who the staff consists of.
I also liked the point he made about the possibility that a very significant number of current players will be asked to move on in addition to a few assistant coaches. I think most of us agree that this needs to happen.
Now whether or not this program gets turned around is completely up to Mario Cristobal and the decisions that he chooses to make. He has a lot of good people around him so let's hope that they make the right moves.
Edit: Almost forgot. There was absolutely nothing controversial about what Mario said about the media. That is obvious when you listen to the entire answer that he gave and have the proper context in which it was said. Why then did we see all these people talking about what Cristobal said as if it was some huge controversy? This one is easy but it may not be what most are expecting to hear. The reason is that most people lack the requisite intelligence necessary to comprehend what was being said in it's full context. In other words, it's because most people are dumb as ***** and it isn't getting any better. I honestly think people are becoming more dumbed down than I had ever thought possible. The ability to think for oneself is becoming more and more uncommon. Just go out and observe. People literally have difficulty finding their way out of a restaurant. It's sad. Really sad.
*Fixed.. They didn't ask for a patch job. They chose the rebuild.Mario was paid a lot of money to win *eventually
haha the last part will be funny if Mario fails bc well recycle that w Marios name lol. its just the cycle of bad coaching hires from Coker to Manny (Mario is still TBD).They care more to be right than the actual team. Plus, we still have some Manny fan boys lurking.
feels low1/3 of CIS.
