CanesInSight: You were just in Miami for the 305 Day event. You’ve been on campus a few times before, but this visit seemed a little different. How was it?

Josh Johnson: I’m doing great—thanks for having me on. I had a great time yesterday at the 305 Day event. It was really special. I don’t think any other school does what we got to do there...

That has to be long ride to clownville . Like I said before who has he played . I never heard of one premier team in key west

There have been many outstanding college and NFL players who played at very small HS programs, often against subpar competition, and they did fine. Outside of the local soFla powers Central, NW, STA, Chaminade, American Heritage, Columbus and 2-3 public schools in Dade/Broward/PB recruiting players throughout their county, you have many subpar programs. Those programs are no better than mid programs in other parts of state and nationally as well.
This kid has size and athleticism that you can't teach, and he grew up playing a bunch of sports. He's a legit prospect.

“Make sure my main thing was the main thing”…

Is the kid already enrolled early or is that still to come ?

Leighton Vander Esch played like 8 man football and was 1st round pick for Dallas, so what his hs sucks? Great players come from all over

They win ? 😂 They lost by 50 points 😂 was this post supposed to be a flex . They didn’t play they got steam rolled
No it was an answer to your own question. Reading is fundamental.

There is plenty of tape of him against strong competition that can be isolated and evaluated separate from the rest of his team.

Rich Rod didn’t question whether Cam Vaughn and five of his other teammates could produce going from Jacksonville State to the XII, despite losing 14 to 49 to Louisville and 27 to 55 to Coastal Carolina, and Mario trusted Omar Thornton could help UMiami win games after Boston College lost by 30+ points to Clemson, SMU, and Pittsburgh.
