Dabo texted him Dyck picks. Whether true or not let’s just put it out there and make Dabo have to defend against itFull release leads me to believe there was something egregious, or he has something on the school.

You come up with some bizarre reasons for guys to pick UM. Almost retarded like.
5* DT Josh Belk is transferring from Clemson UM should Reach Out and see if something can be worked out. His mom is ill and Clemson gave him a unconditional release (kudos to Dabo for this one). I would guess that UM hospital would offer better medical treatment than any hospital in Lewisville, SC (which is Belz hometown), or Columbia, SC his expected landing spot. Charlotte, NC is an hour north of Lewisville, sc so if Belz went to USCe he would traveling an hour home, than an additional hour north to Charlotte, NC to get expert care for his mom. Were as in Miami the trip would be mere minutes away for his mom to get world class medical treatment.

Four-star lineman transferring from Clemson, wants to be 'closer to home'
Hmm surprise surprise Belk said he wants to look around and take some visits to a few schools so he won't pick a school until July. Now this could be Belk posturing for a bigger package from USCe or he could be genuinely looking at other schools, either way it doesn't hurt for Miami to kick the tires.

Guy transfers in-state to be closer to his sick mother. OP believes family should instead relocate to Miami to get treatment. Makes perfect sense.
What's probably going on is that the kid originally wanted to go to South Carolina and, given the unfortunate circumstances with his mom, he now needs to be at South Carolina to be closer to his mom. What's Dabo's motivation for giving him an unconditional release? He doesn't want the bad PR for blocking a kid's transfer to be closer to his sick mother when he has 46 other 5* on his DL already and 240 other studs who want to commit to him right now.Now I have seen everything.
This kid will likely transfer from Clemson to South Carolina. Based on his family home being in Richburg, he will be AT MAX an hour closer (driving from the USC campus to Richburg, vs. driving from the Clemson campus to Richburg).
Good lord, what is the world coming to...look, I have no problems with this kid doing whatever he thinks is right, but he's saving AN HOUR DRIVE at best. And Dabo is giving him an unconditional release.
Sorry, but something else is going on here...
