Oh no, a former FSU player's career is over.

What in the ****?

He was a 5th round pick. He didn't make THAT MUCH money "doing rehab".

As for permanently handicapped, you have no idea. I know several former Miami players that I went to school with who have serious problems. Being "permanently handicapped" is not a binary condition where you are either in a wheelchair or else you are fine. There are a lot of levels to the permanent physical limitations that retired players have to deal with.

As for the "mental trauma", again, you have no idea. Some of the CTE stuff does not present immediately, nobody knows for certain whether Jordan Travis will have to deal with issues such as these.

I was never a fan, and I hate the SemenHoles, but I can have compassion for any player whose career is cut short by injury and/or botched recovery.

he couldn't throw the ball to save this life his first couple of years, applaud him for developing into a very good college quarterback. seems like a decent kid.

i have represented athletes in contact sports including MMA, they generally are all toast.

How did the Jets ***** up his surgery? Dude was hurt 11-18-23. The draft happened 4-25-24. over 5 months later. Dude was over surgery and well into his rehab before the Jets ever laid eyes on him in the 5th round 5 months after the injury.

im petty
i dislike all FSU players and people associated with them

so with that in mind
F him, he deserves it for fronting like he was something when he was playing us

For those who are in the "he's a Nole, ***** him" category, I'm still salty over that loss at Doak and the 3rd and 14 conversion too, but if the shoe were on the other foot and the injury happened to one of ours and folks were saying that stuff about our own, we'd resent it. We can hope FSU never wins another game without wishing ill will upon the kid.

Nah that sucks man, hope he does well in life. **** fsu though, but I never want players hurt. When players are hurt everyone has an excuse as to why they lost. Beat us healthy or beat them healthy pause

Should have benched him against North Alabama. Hindsight is 20/20.

It was an horrific injury. Medical science has come a long way, but sometimes the injury is just too much to overcome and compete.
There was a time when a rotator cuff injury or torn labrum or torn ACL meant your career was over.
Blaming the rehab is a little suspect. The Jets, who I have no love for, got him what? Almost 6 months after his injury?

Sucks for him. I’ll always be thankful for 4th and 14. It forced this program to finally get serious about football.
