To have a $40 mil roster, spend $6 mil on QB then pump fake on giving extra 500k-$1 mil for a extremely high floor, moonshot ceiling player in portal which rarely enters.. This was a bridge oline which needed some help to get to 2027 eliteness, whatever rules you have this line deserved asterisk as far as investment.. We too close to be pearl clutching..

Yeah, nah miss me with that. If you got a chance to land a top 3 OT in any year, you ante up. I’d feel a lot better with a line of

Didn’t need Seaton.. we should’ve just paid Kinsler to stay and told him he was a guaranteed starter bc ain’t no way he would’ve got beat out by Buchanan or SJ regardless.
 
I dont foresee Mario making this mistake again next offseason. Losing Seaton and not paying/guaranteeing Kinsler could cost us the national title. I said it in another thread...he trusted certain guys along that OL and they are making a fool of him and I dont think he will let that happen again.
