To have a $40 mil roster, spend $6 mil on QB then pump fake on giving extra 500k-$1 mil for a extremely high floor, moonshot ceiling player in portal which rarely enters.. This was a bridge oline which needed some help to get to 2027 eliteness, whatever rules you have this line deserved asterisk as far as investment.. We too close to be pearl clutching..

Didn’t need Seaton.. we should’ve just paid Kinsler to stay and told him he was a guaranteed starter bc ain’t no way he would’ve got beat out by Buchanan or SJ regardless.

I dont foresee Mario making this mistake again next offseason. Losing Seaton and not paying/guaranteeing Kinsler could cost us the national title. I said it in another thread...he trusted certain guys along that OL and they are making a fool of him and I dont think he will let that happen again.

Because some people are looking for someone to blame for the OL playing like **** and they think we should've paid Seaton a kings ransom.

I'm not one of those people btw.

Mario seems to be more leaning towards Dabo and wanting to be high school development school. Idk where it comes from but he came out of off season screaming that unprompted and the whole we dont need portal QB every interview like this isnt new age of cfb. We took almost least amount of portal in ACC and Nationally.
