Jordan Seaton to Portal to Knoxville Car Wreck Guy (LSU)

Listen, I understand this kid is talented, but I don't think he was going to be good culture fit here. I was kinda hoping we didn't land him. As talented as he is, I think he and his "unc" are a better fit for a Lane Kiffin LSU than a Mario Cristobal Miami. I really feel Mario and Mirabel didn't chase this kid as much as we may want to believe they did.

Can’t afford any injuries though.

They’re going to have what 8-9 games to gel before they face a real D line @notre dame.

I think if the writing has been on the wall for weeks about Bell then you needed to have a plan at OT in the portal. Maybe not the top guy but you needed to bring in someone who is legitimate. WAY too many moving parts on the OL this time around. 2 years ago we knew DB was going to be a liability…. And it was. This upcoming year, OL looks like the liability. Mirabal and Cristobal are going to need to earn that check. The rest of this roster looks championship worthy.
 
Not concerned about OL.

Don’t love needing to potentially rely on multiple true freshmen / redshirt freshmen to get meaningful snaps. But do trust we’ll be alright.

Possibly an upgrade at QB, RBs returning, loaded WR room if they land Barkate.

If they're able to field an above average o line this team should be a championship contender again.

I don't think our DL is loaded, I think it will be a downgrade from last season. I don't think you can lose a Ruben Bain and Ahmad Moten and expect to be as good the following season. I think basically every unit except WR and maybe DB will be a downgrade from what we had last season. I honestly think a lot of us are just assuming that certain players will be able to fill the shoes of what we're losing and in my opinion I don't think that's the case.

Because the offense is defintely in need of a WR like Barkate. With a limited number of $, spending a large part of that budget on an LT doesn't scream confidence in the situation without him.

Naw homie our d-line in 2026 is gonna be sick. Its overall deeper than it was in 2025 with the strength in.the interior instead of the edges
