Jordan Seaton to Portal to Knoxville Car Wreck Guy (LSU)

The Oregon 247 mod said the rumored number here is ~$4M.

That's as much as Beck made this past year. More than what Cam made the year before. Crazy times we live in. The year-over-year salary increases are astronomical.
What do you think the cost should be for a guy who will go 1st round in the NFL draft (instantly becoming a multi-millionaire), who will be protecting the blindside of the most important position on our football team (i.e., QB)? $100 bucks?

There is nothing anyone can tell me to convince me that anyone is paying this kid 4M. Absolutely not. This kid isn’t Tyron Smith.
Whether it is or isn't the number, it is the game that reporters play...high number = fans say that's too much, glad he went elsewhere or high number= fans say we have standards and don't "buy" players....covers the team when they strikeout.

If he had a 4mil offer hed be signed and delivered..i think he has good offers but not what he thought initially jumping into the portal. Tryna see if he can wait out another 500k or so prolly. Highly doubt a real 4mil offer is on the table from anyone of his suitors.

YUP AND THIS KID IS THE TYPE THAT WOULD GO TO OREGON IF THEY GAVE HIM SOME NIKE SNEAKERS HES NEVER SEEN.

I'm not holding my breath we get him hes wired different for an OL. He has more of a skill position thought process.

Kid has a Maybach in Boulder colorado lol
Anyone that committed to Colorado is a red flag immediately for me

Yeah, the 247 mod said he thinks the rumored number is $4M, not that any team has agreed to pay that. I also don't think he'll get 4M, but who knows.

In the NFL, a high-end left tackle usually commands about 5 - 10 percent of a team's salary cap. Say Miami spends $35M on this year's roster, 10 percent of that is $3.5M. So $4M is not that far off from how NFL teams value high-end starting tackles.

But in this case, I think it's too much, perhaps way too much.
