Jordan Seaton to Portal to Knoxville Car Wreck Guy (LSU)

Did he look off the safety? I haven't gone back to watch it since Monday night. I remember it looked like he read it correctly (pre-snap) and knew he was going to Marion. But post-snap I thought he stared him down (I could be wrong). If he did stare him down though, it would explain why he never saw the other two come open.

What is still crazy to me is the parallel between that play and the TD Tua threw to Smith to win the Natty. I mean it is the same route and coverage. Both from the 49 yard line. If Beck puts more on it and hits the pilon it's a TD or incomplete. Crazy.
We discussed this I believe in this thread or another - the difference between the Tua throw and the Beck throw was the hash lines the throw was made from.

Tua throw was on the left hash (shorter throw) and the Beck throw was made from the far hash, so a much longer throw.

I’m ok with him being thorough. He made a bad decision going to Colorado.

These 3 programs are above that decision, but this has massive implications for him and that’s not including what his personal goals are.

I still don’t think he chooses us, but I feel better about it than I did yesterday.

Especially with the Georgia OL visiting Texas.

We have an advantage vs Oregon and LSU regarding state income taxes. Based on his deal amount, it could easily reach 200K.

Just forced myself to re-watch it. Good catch, I didn't notice the hash difference. Ok I'm ready for August 2026 lol

There’s doing due diligence and being thorough. There’s also a point where you have all information and need tk make a decision.

I understand the kid is looking at big money but if it’s comparable how are u even thinking of anywhere but Miami. Miami specializes in OL play like it’s a no brianer and have Cici going top 10 this year lol

A lot of self confidence and willingness to bet on himself.

I know people have questioned if his arm is the same, and I think it’s clear it’s not but 45 yards isn’t exactly a long throw, you think he just short armed it or was it something mental. Awful time to have possibly his worse throw of the season

He's under thrown deep passes all season but you could argue he was a beat slow getting it out. He throws that same ball milliseconds sooner and we're likely not having this conversation.

Doesn't really say.

Colorado transfer offensive tackle Jordan Seaton is the top remaining player available in the transfer portal. LSU, Miami and Oregon have emerged as the top three contenders, but a number of schools have shown interest.
But as Seaton appears to be nearing a commitment, enrollment deadlines are quickly approaching at LSU and Miami, it’s unclear where he will land. The trio of schools are all awaiting a final decision. LSU and Miami hosted him on visits, while Oregon traveled to Atlanta to get some facetime with the offensive tackle.
Earlier this week, the Tigers appeared to have the momentum, but that has wavered. Some have thought Miami has gained traction, but across the board, sources have cautioned against anyone truly having the edge entering the weekend. Mississippi State landed Seaton’s first visit.
Miami is coming up to the deadline of when it can get a player admitted so they can participate in spring practice, with Friday marking a critical date. LSU’s final date to add courses for the spring semester was Thursday. Oregon has a more flexible structure with the quarter system.
On3 reported ahead of the transfer portal opening that it would cost $500,000 to $1.2 million to land an impact offensive tackle. Sources have speculated Seaton will command in the $2 million range, at least. It’s not just about who can offer the most lucrative package, however, with development expected to factor into the Colorado transfer’s decision.
The 6-foot-5, 330-pound offensive tackle earned All-Big 12 second-team honors in 2025. He started the first nine games of the 2025 season before missing the final three games due to injury. Jordan Seaton allowed only one sack and five pressures with zero quarterback hits. The offensive tackle graded out as 11th 11th-best pass blocker in the Big 12, the second-best offensive tackle, and the 10th-best offensive tackle among Power Four.

If its not about the money and truly about development if the money said is close Miami is an absolute no brainer here. That being said, I dont buy that this isnt about money
