Jordan Scarlett

Ok so it is becoming apparent that Cook is and will be better than Yearby. For those of you that have seen Scarlett / Walton / Dex - is any one of them better than Yearby? Cook?

They don't have to be better than Cook, just be productive... In 2000, James Jackson wasn't a better college back than Willie Green, but he was really productive (and ironically I think he took his position in Cleveland)... Just be productive and give us 1k or more rushing...

He should not have scored 2 times against us. We missed too many f*cking tackles on that last run. We will be just fine with Yearby next season. I think him being hurt during the spring really hurt. He couldnt get as much power in his legs as I think he would need. He is going to be our workhorse next season though.

1) Yearby will improve with conditioning. The main difference between Yearby and Cook is raw explosion. That can be worked on.

2) Scarlett is the kind of back we haven't had since McGahee. Big and explosive.

3) Dexter will be there in spring. Explosive back. Can catch it out of the backfield. Poor Man's Demarco Murray out of high school. Probably a bit better than a "poor man's" version.

Cant agree with that one. That can't be worked on, and it's fine, Yearby will be a player for us. We need to close on the elite players in our back yard. Scarlett is a start, although the Noles seem real real confident there. You keep kids like Scarlett home, along with Bruce and a majority of the play makers in SFLA, and you have a chance to beat anybody in the country. Look at who killed us last night, outside of Ramsey and Jameis, maybe Goldman who by the way was considered a Cane lean out of DC before we fell apart, players like Greene, Rudolph, Cook, even O'Leary should have been Canes.

I'm not saying they can turn Yearby into Dalvin Cook, but he can be improved and those improvements to his strength and explosion could do wonders for his game. He doesn't need Devin Hester explosion to see marked improvement in his game. A little more explosion and strength could go a long way for a kid like Yearby.
