Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas RB Jordan Scarlett is currently an FAU commitment.

-But he says the Canes are "coming on the hardest, started recently coming on."

-The talented tailback lists 25 offers and says he believes he has a committable UM offer.

-Says "A lot of the coaches there are connecting, building a relationship with me," "They want me to come down for a spring practice - I'll do that."

-Says "I don't really have a top five" and that "I have to keep my options open because you never know what can happen in the process."

-Says "going to FAU will really establish my name - I can change around the program, be a legend there." (LOL)

Asked what UM has to do to catch up with FAU, Says "I don't know really. I just want to see how the staff is, how everybody's season goes and I'll go from there.

-Says "I'll take my official visits and then see what fits me best."

Its really simple, we should offer Archer asap and then I really like our chances. Before committing and his coach taking the FAU position we pulled even.
 
if he's actually an FAU commitment i'm not even going to follow this kid until signing day.
 
Doesn't even have a top 5 but he's committed to FAU?

Sounds like the weakest verbal commitment ever.
 
Hope the kid goes to FAU if we don't get him. Don't blame the decision, just hope he doesn't leave his old coach hangin'...unless he comes here.
 
The kid aint goin to FAU, he will get some early burn here since duke will probably go pro after this year, he would be a great complimentary back to yearby
