Jacksonville Raines Coach Deran Wiley on Jordan Miller:

“The kid is huuuge. And he can move. Coming out of the locker room for our game I happened to be looking around the field and I see a parent on the visitor side waving for somebody. I look and see the kid go over and I really realize how big this guy was, a grown man. When he called his son to walk over, I literally got a little scared. He’s big. I said `Oh my God, where’d this kid come from?’ And on the field he caused us all sorts of havoc. He can really play. He moves well. He’s disruptive and I think his best days are ahead of him.”

I thought Paranos said he was abused all day in that game?

That’s what happens when a guy doesn’t see the game in person and just makes a guess from 2 minutes of highlights.

So where'd you get the quote from? Link to source please.

An I watched 8 mins of highlights from the Raines vs Sandalwood game. The game Raines won by 20points. And in my reference I said in these highlights he was manhandled so quote me directly.

Go Canes

That's from Shodell's article on CS. Direct quote from Raiines's HC. Considering Raines won the state title, that's pretty impressive.

Basing your opinion off of Raines's highlights in that game isn't really getting a fair perspective

If Miller had such a great game against Jacksonville raines why no individual game highlight clip up like he did for the other games he played in. Especially considering it raines ended up becoming state champ you would want to show how you performed against the state champ, that a very good oline.

Bottom line I also said that given time miller will most likely develop into a good player under coach cool, because he seems like a lunch pail type player an that is the type of player Coach kool likes to mold. I see you left that part of statement out also.

Well, you said "abused". See below I don't make ***t up.

Check......mate.

5 coaches including coach Richt visit him tonight and I believe they close the deal. Kid has stated Miami at the top of his list. No insider info.

I think you're absolutely right, but just to be on the up-and-up I added "In My Opinion" to the title of the thread, just because.

It would be nice. That’s for sure. Would help our coaches continue to focus mostly on the AH 4; plus, Miller is a beast, and I want him on board pronto.

Maybe but I don’t think richt will let until he visits the school

Totally. I just know how touchy people get around here this time of year. No reflection on you whatsoever.

I think kid will be really good for us (if he comes to Miami) by year 2. Amazed how he stayed under the radar for so long.

D-Line recruits?

Can't forget Rousseau. Nesta, Chatfield, and Miller is very comparable to a McIntosh, Norton, Moten combination in the middle. Add in Ford and the 2019 haul and we'll be looking solid on the interior in a few years with some athletic freaks on the edge.
