Jordan Miller - 3 star - Commits!!!

Nesta, Chatman, and Miller would actually be a really solid DT haul. Still won't be a ton of starting experience playing next season, but at least we're attempting to remedy our numbers there with these three and the kid from Illinois.

This. Not much we could have done this year recruiting wise to fix the depth for next season. That mistake was last year. But 2019 and on would look good with that close.

Most people say you cant judge a class until 3 years out..will be interesting to take a look back at this DT haul and see if it turned out to be an elite haul. (if this prediction holds that is and we get Chatman/Miller)

whats really cool about this is that if you look at his twitter from last week back several months, all he is doing is retweeting all his friends tweets who got offers. constantly congratulating them as he patiently waited. i don't have a twitter account and I am too old to ever have had one in high school but it has got to be pretty depressing to know you have talent but to constantly watch all your friends get big time offers and wonder when you time it coming. boy has kept his head up and just keep doing his thing. this kid is going to come in with a chip on his shoulder with something to prove and kick some ***

his twitter right now

if that is his page he is Cane.

Chatman seems entirely up in the air, but if we don't get Miller we f*cked up pretty severely somewhere along the line.

Honestly, I think I'd rather have this kid than Briggs. His film is really impressive...

Briggs to me is another Chad Thomas. Not to say that we don't need a kid like that, but it sounds like FSU is going to play him outside. Miller is a plug and a solid replacement for Norton in a couple of years.

Briggs has nowhere near the athleticism as Chad. Plus different frame...Briggs has a big lower half which means to weight gain...chad is a sr weighs about 270 and still looks skinny due to how his frame is. Don't diss Major Nine like that.

So I just watched Miller's film and Holy Shnikes ! Sign that dude up now! Way better film then most of the DL we are after this year.

Jacksonville Raines Coach Deran Wiley on Jordan Miller:

“The kid is huuuge. And he can move. Coming out of the locker room for our game I happened to be looking around the field and I see a parent on the visitor side waving for somebody. I look and see the kid go over and I really realize how big this guy was, a grown man. When he called his son to walk over, I literally got a little scared. He’s big. I said `Oh my God, where’d this kid come from?’ And on the field he caused us all sorts of havoc. He can really play. He moves well. He’s disruptive and I think his best days are ahead of him.”

I thought Paranos said he was abused all day in that game?

If you’re taking anything Parrotnose says seriously I’m going to arrange assistance for you immediately.

That’s what happens when a guy doesn’t see the game in person and just makes a guess from 2 minutes of highlights.

This is the kinda DT we should offer in every class even if we get our primary targets. Big prospects with agility and potential.

Paranos? Lol. Dannyboy? He lives in jersey with his mom and has aspergers. I wouldn’t take anything he says seriously.

Paranos probably had a personal flashback of that 6-3 woman whipping him.

Chad was 277 lbs. at Senior Bowl and has the frame to be 290lb NFL DE in a 3 man front and be a real edge setter with pass rushing availability. In a 4 man line could move inside to a DT. Chad in his first year throwing the shot put in HS reached the national elite standard showing his athleticism.

Kid's blowing up, seems that he completely flew under the radar with only FCS offers, until UVA saw his tape and offered. Once they did, everyone started to re-evaluate him based on his senior tape and the offers have been coming in from all the FBS schools. Seems to be a typical senior year breakout star.

Do not have to wait for him to grow from 260 to 300 and there is a chance he loses mobility in this weight gain process.. Miller has the size and strength to contribute in the rotation as a freshman.

Read where he was at Palatka HS until this past year transfering to Sandalwood and attended no camps or combines so was off the scope.

Oh man, that explains it. Only 10k people in the town in the middle of nowhere. That Sandalwood transfer was huge for him.

So where'd you get the quote from? Link to source please.

If Miller had such a great game against Jacksonville raines why no individual game highlight clip up like he did for the other games he played in. Especially considering it raines ended up becoming state champ you would want to show how you performed against the state champ, that a very good oline.

An I watched 8 mins of highlights from the Raines vs Sandalwood game. The game Raines won by 20points. And in my reference I said in these highlights he was manhandled so quote me directly.

Bottom line I also said that given time miller will most likely develop into a good player under coach cool, because he seems like a lunch pail type player an that is the type of player Coach kool likes to mold. I see you left that part of statement out also.

Go Canes
