Jordan Lyle - what's the story?

Has anyone on here played football while injured? Why are you so ready to burn the boats? Samson can't make the first team so sucks, should drop him. Mesidor is always injured and looks slow out there, should drop him. Beck will never recover from injury to 2023 form, should drop him.

The kid could be a washout. But is that the logical default conclusion? He was our #1 pre-season. The simpler explanation is his injuries aren't so great he is unable to play, but are great enough he's not able to play well.
Why do you want to drop so many of our players?

Way too sensible and logical. Cut it out.

Quite the opposite, I believe we rush to judgment on injured players when we should give them a chance to fully recover before judging their performance. I was pointing out the logical fallacy in the argument that coaches should nudge Lyle into the transfer portal because he has performed poorly while playing injured by giving three prior examples of players who battled through injuries and significant criticism on CIS to become all-conference or NFL caliber performers for us.

I was just making a joke cause I agree with you.
