Jordan Cronkrite

Why would we want UF's 4th best RB? Do you mean to tell me that we can't find a better RB than this guy?

I'd take Cronkite - but not necessarily as a RB. He played DB in HS, and is a good receiver, so he might work in the slot.

He's certainly not a game changer - but I'd take him a an athlete/utility player and see if we can find a spot where he can contribute.

IRRC, Cronkite felt slighted because we had our sights on Scarlett and getting Walton to reclassify. And he was the odd man out along with Dex Williams. I dont think this was a situation where he chose UF over us as much as it was us giving him the cold shoulder and nudging him out the class in favor of Scarlett and Walton. Remember at one point we **** near had all 4 committed at the same time.

All that said, he isnt a RB that we dont already have on the roster. **** why not just give Homer a go before bringing an average RB in?

RB's are a dime a dozen in S.FL and I cant think of a transfer RB who has ever amounted to anything. No way in **** I approach this kid.

There aren't many "Cook types." Stud, head and shoulders above all others nationally. What's amazing to me is that Yearby started in front of Cook at Central. How is that possible?

Its been talked about a lot on here, but the main reason Yearby got the start was because Dalvin started on defense.

Cool wasn't on the juice yet, I mean FSU meal program

Why are some posters claiming he spurned Miami? I believe we basically dropped him for Williams, Scarlett and walton. Kid got the hint and chose another school. He should go to gtech or either a pass heavy school like Ttech or WSU.

in fairness, he felt golden was lying to him and he was. he was told he would play RB. when they had four guys committed. Jordan knew he was going to DB and the staff kept saying "no. u will compete at rb" but their play was to move him to db. he wasnt stupid. he felt lied too

If we're even considering Cronkite at rb you can bet one of our current RB's is going to transfer or declare.
