They had a good week of mat drills before Spring practice. Would be interesting how it plays out by the Spring game.

Too early to have an opinion, I’m sure things will change quite a bit before it’s all said and done.

Ol is all about finding the right combination. It’s at least nice to hear the coaches speaking positive about Brown. He’d be a nice surprise , especially with the tackle depth.

Just spring man ... It's based off of Matt drills .. Also because they're older think the staff wants to give them every opportunity to get a look wouldn't look too deep in it

There are tons of OL who dont turn the corner till theyre upperclassmen aka grown men. Happens all the time everywhere. Big Ten schools are built overachieving seniority.

It's the single BEST position to redshirt for this reason. I'm not big on redshirting anyone, but O-linemen are the exception.

Everyone can improve, clearly they have. Therefore, I would say that there is absolutely ZERO chance that either one will be a starter come fall.

I think the staff giving them confidence and a chance to prove themselves with the intention of building quality depth. Remember we got the vol transfer and Cleveland Reed coming, who I think will make some noise.

Not paying attention to any depth chart in spring. It’s going to be another battle all over again when boulware and reed get here. We could be preparing to play Gaynor at center and move gaulthier to left guard too
