Johnathan G is going to be one of our highest NFL selections in years without a doubt.
Agree, he’s a twitchy athlete, probably more so than Joe Jackson.

When he did that, after his Va tech performance the week before, I think everyone knew the potential/what we hade with him...when he was a freshman in 2017 and beat the senior top rated OL from Notre dame....Garvin put himself on the radar!
B b b but the gaytors said our D only feasted on bad offenses.b b b but we dont get people drafted they said
As long as he don’t test like a 5 percentile athlete at the position like joe Jackson did and have an increase in sack production he might be a lock for a top 2 round pick
I think his ceiling is probably early day 2 maybe squeeze into late 1st but he has a lot of work to do. Very much a one trick pony right now with the club rip. Really needs to add to his tool box as a rusher because he's not a burst/bend freaky type
A hedgehog only has one trick - but it's the best trick, and works every time. For 15 million years.
Was he a one trick pony? I felt he did a really good job against the run, and the 18 TFL kind of back that up as well.
He was a 4*.
He’s very talented but his production last year was disappointing. If he gonna be a top 3 round pick he’s gotta convert more pressures into sacks.
His sack production was but not his overall game. He didn’t have a sack in the last 5 games but was well on pace to have double digit sacks by the 5th or 6th gameHe’s very talented but his production last year was disappointing. One trick pony as a pass rusher which is what's going to get you drafted high in present day football. Also his TFLs are more a product of pursuit/our defense being predicated on getting upfield rather than him actually beating an OTWas he a one trick pony? That's not my way that's how players are evaluated. TFLs matter in context. There's been plenty of players who have really high TFL totals that don't make it in the league. I'm just being unbiased about itDoes it matter how he tackles someone in the backfield???.....are you saying if he doesn't do it your way it doesn't count lol
At the end of the cycle he was. For good reason. But, for the great majority of the recruiting cycle he was a lowly 3 star. Stars absolutely matter (obviously). Evaluations matter even more so that you can lock guys in before the star rankings and other offers catch up.
Just hype. He was only a 3 star recruit.
Signed,
CIS star ho's league.
still mad to see Rashard Weaver on the list knowing that we could have had him as well. Let him go to Pitt i knew he would be a good player.
Garvin will eat this year. He is slithery as ****. Type of DE's i hated blocking
