Dwyer runs the ball a lot and they don't really have a good QB. There has been a lot of times where Dixon had beat his CB and the QB missed him completely happens was to often.

Yep and Lane has no excuse he has a D1 QB and another D1 WR lined up opposite of him
 
It'd be interesting to see Stacey Coley's stats from last year for comparison. He had an awful 8 foot tall Haitian slinging him the rock and seemed to produce. Stars find ways to make plays.

I think they're pretty similar to Lane's. Not so great.

I thought so. I was reading on another board where people were saying that he's a camp standout that hasn't produced on the field as much. Not saying I don't want him, but that always makes me take a step back when a WR doesn't produce on the field.

I'm far from an expert but any time I saw Dixon's in game stuff, he had trouble with separation. In camps, that's a **** of a lot easier and he is still obviously talented. Not dogging the kid, but the ridiculous hype him and Lane were getting this offseason stemming from camp settings was absurd.

Again, not wanting this post to be taken like it's a knock on him I just haven't personally seen anything that has changed my mind (though that doesn't mean it hasn't happened)

You weren't the only one. It became urban myth on here like so many other dumb comments about players and coaches do.

Yeah, I think I was the first though. Lets just say this the other wr is committed to UGA and nobody says a word about him because he produces but Lane brings this controversy now and im getting over it completely now

I trust the coaches evaluations. Yeah, I know, whatever, but if we have Stacey Coley and Griffin on the field, along with the guys who will be upperclassmen, then we have time for guys to develop.


Besides, I'm betting at least one of the WR's in this class shows out early. We'll be alright either way.
 
Dwyer has two other d1 receivers on his team if I'm not mistaken. Stephens and another kid. Homestead has a better qb tho
