I thought Joe Jackson would test better. His shuttle doesn't surprise me (he's stiff) but I thought he would show more explosion with training.

That's what cost him, along with a reputation for being stubborn. He is in a perfect spot with Marinelli and he will flourish if he listens.

Declaring this year or next wouldn't have made a difference with Joe Jackson. He's not going to get more athletic.

It would've made a difference in outside forces. This was a very strong year for DLine. If he came back another year, he's gambling that the DLine class for the next draft won't be as good...which is not hard to expect.
