That was non-responsive. My question is, since you say I'm unfamiliar with his resume, what is Joe Echevarria's resume when it comes to picking college football coaches?

SO WHAT? Based on TVD's statistics in his first year of starting, he WAS a Heisman candidate in the next year. The fact that TVD did not continue to grow and improve and perform is on him.

But "Heisman candidate" is an annual projection based on prior year stats.

It is not non-responsive. The job is "University President", not "Athletic Director" (and Joe has not even been "promoted" as you falsely claim, he has taken over as an INTERIM because nobody wanted Frenk to stay for even one minute longer).

You are suggesting that someone with Joe's resume should not be hired as University president solely because he hired a PROVEN head coach who has not won enough games for (checks notes) Paul Butt****er in the first two years of a rebuild.

(Also Cristobal might not be great.. but saying he isn't "good" is disingenuous. He might do less with more.. but he always has more (croots) so he's able to stumble his way to double digit wins every season. That's good. )

Another non-responsive post. Echevarria has no background in hiring football coaches, yet apparently put his hand on the lever to bring Mario aboard, which was not the smart decision. You could have saved the keystrokes and just said that he doesn't have any experience in hiring football coaches, other than Mario Cristobal.
