you had me at "miami threw more money"I was just told that Miami threw more money at Brady than any of his other offers.
LSU’s 2019 passing offense was predicated on Joe Burrow being highly accurate & throwing the ball to an armory of elite caliber WR’s, most of the concepts were pretty simplistic, but simple is often good in college.
For a 1 year rental, it could definitely work, as long as Mario doesn’t try to force Joe to become a power run style play caller, just let him throw the ball all over the field & the run game will open up based on Defenses being scared to Death of the Air attack.
LSU also had Clyde Edwards-Helaire as a 1400+yd back that season off just 215 carries at 6.6 yards per carry. Obviously, LSU’s OL was/is much better than ours so even with a dynamic back like Knighton we shouldn’t expect that kind of productivity from him as a pure rusher, his impact will be both as a RB & Receiving Back out of the backfield.
The Carolina experiment & his supposed lack of propensity for recruiting is concerning, but if he’s just the short term guy for next season that won’t matter too much overall, but if by some off chance he’s here for longer than a season or two it could be a red flag.
Hopefully, it works out if he’s the guy, we have a loaded offense & there’s no reason why we shouldn’t go on a run with the weapons we have, the only way to fck it up is by trying to remake the offense into something it’s not at the core of their identity.
It would fit the pattern..I was just told that Miami threw more money at Brady than any of his other offers.
Anybody else heard that?
yea this has been my biggest criticismI read that Matt Rhule fired Brady because Rhule wanted a stronger, more consistent running game. Brady insisted on throwing the ball.
Worries me a bit.

if he's as good as he was at LSU in 2019 his offense will recruit itself. he doesn't even need to leave campus all week as far as i'm concerned.
