Don't disagree with you but he chose the enemy and he is with them now. Mario has built this thing up where I don't worry about kids like this anymore. If he wants to be here, sure, enter the portal and come home. If not, I'm certainly not worrying about one kid. MC has built the organizational structure to find the right kid for this team and program whether that's Jeremiah or somebody else.

Same with recruiting high school. If kids don't want to be here, move on and find someone that fits and does want to be here.

We haven't been this close to the mountaintop in 25 years. I'm gonna choose not to care about the 1% chance a kid transfers here and instead choose to praise and focus on the 100 kids that trusted Mario and let their actions back up their words that they wanted to be Canes.

Unpopular take: wouldn’t touch him with a 10 foot pole. We could get a legit WR1 and TE1 with the money JS would demand. And I don’t like giving that dude an opportunity to say he was a Cane for the rest of his life. He had his opportunity.

If that's true, I actually might be in the same boat. I'd only take him if he's willing to come at the same price we'd get another true WR1.

Edited to add: I'll bet if JJ is on the table there'd be more money available too. Somebody may be willing to spend a little bit extra because it's JJ.
