Talent isn't the ONLY factor, it's just the BIGGEST factor.
What I'm saying is the biggest factor in Georgia going from 10 win good, to NC good, has been their recruiting.
Ohio St - had 29 Top 100 players in their last 3 classes. They have similar talent to Georgia, so it becomes a more level playing field where coaching is important when they play. Their game could've easily gone either way.
Clemson - doesn't recruit on the same level. They need a Superman QB like Watson/Lawrence to take them over the top. When Kelly Bryant/DJU is the QB, they're really good but not great. Only so much the coaches can do.
Tenn - Has been bad, but had a magical year, just like TCU. Sometimes things break your way for a year, but Georgia was in control of the game this year, just like every other year
LSU - Needed Burrow/Chase/Jefferson/CEH - all 1st Rd picks to win the NC. Wasn't like Ogeron magically learned how to coach for just that year.
Mich - Georgia dominated them last year. That talent gap was easy to see.
