To be fair Krazy, FSU did say they preferred to hire a minority coach.

Which by the general definition in America, is not White, according to census statistics.

If I were FSU, I would be looking to hire the best person for the job.

Hiring somebody for 'style' points is not really style at all. It's virtue signaling.

"Look at us! We hired a BLACK coach! Isn't that cool?! We are ALL about diversity and oppurtunity here. Did we mention he is BLACK?"

Hire the best man for the job. Not the color of his skin, but the content of his character right?

Man if that were true...and if he really did miss walk-thru he should be done, at some point the FSU admin has to sack up. I would imagine that there's something in his contract about a dereliction of duties and firing him.
