When JS committed to Ohio State, and then signed, that’s when I checked out.

**** this guy. With all the thousands of posts that have been written about him, this may be my very first one. He was dead to me the moment he signed with that cold tomb shīthole in Ohio.

It’s like this:

Yea people act like you supposed to still be a fan of his. I understand if he goes on to play for your nfl team, but as a cfb fan he was done to me. If he was from nyc it wouldn’t mean much But it’s different when you a hometown dude. That comes with it. No one cared before because we stunk and it was understandable, now it’s a whole different ballgame

When JS comes back to Miami hes the kid in the corner all alone while all the wanna be cool kids surround Mali
@gogeta4 i think it was who posted at some point that JJ was still the big star when he came back to miami but id guess that was until this past year with the emergence of Mali. I’m sure JJ still gets some attention but not like this. Mali is the hometown hero showing out for the city in the city. I’m actually glad to see that matters.

A Messi level star, maybe, but not a Toney level one. ;)

3 things I want this year.
1. Win championship
2. Knock Ohio St. out of playoffs again.
3. Destroy Notre Dame and keep them out of playoffs again.

How sweet that will be

Only a few South Florida players get a pass from me for not coming to Miami. Lamar Jackson is one of them. Louisville believed in him as a quarterback from the jump, and Miami didn’t even offer him until the very end. Once that American Heritage QB, Torrance Gibson, committed to Ohio State Buckeyes football, Miami circled back to Lamar. And Miami was already his dream school. But by then, he had already built that loyalty to Louisville and their head coach, the one who believed in him first. I respect that. I don’t blame him at all.

Jeremiah Smith is different. He had every chance to come back home, and to me there were no excuses. Yeah, other players in different years can point to where the program was at and use that as a reason, and fair enough. But this situation wasn’t that. You couldn’t ask for a better setup than what Miami had for a South Florida kid to come home, represent the city, and play for the Hurricanes. It was right there for him. Best possible situation. F him and old heads showing him love

So nah, he can rep Columbus. That’s where he’s from. Not Miami.

Old heads??? Nah, it’s the younger generation who shows love to local turncoats. Old heads are from a different day.

Nah lol old heads and new heads show love to anyone from here that succeeds, its a separate thing from the college football universe that i don’t think most people here will ever understand

How this board roots for anything and all thing university of miami, sfla(especially Miami) roots for anything that makes it from here no matter what school they go too. Doing it at the U means more tho but that’s a recent resurgence because of our success lately

I get rooting for people from miami who make it but when they go elsewhere over UM I lose interest in them.

Facts we built different
When we got so bad for so long, i understood why these kids would go elsewhere. But we’re back to being highly relevant again and we pay so I don’t forgive it as easily. 🤣

I’m glad we’re recruiting nationally again. We have options beyond SFL.

And everyone laughed at us while they raided sfla all the rival fans, so the traitors get bunched up with them imo. Now we get to laugh for a long time
