Jeff Thomas

Dude obviously had mental health problems. This the type of kid you have talk to a sports psychologist twice a week because he is a troubled soul. **** shame though. Kid had that Devin Hester quickness, acceleration, COD.

I was told there were issues with JT at Miami from day one. Stuff like him wanting to transfer, etc. It is what it is. But guys like this need to come into a strong culture and resources that Miami may have not had at that moment

His talent was undeniable. But there was a reason why he was available to Miami so late in the recruiting process that year

According to his 247 profile, Miami was the only school he officially visited. He went on visits to Missouri, Alabama, and Illinois for unofficials. I really wonder if he went to a school like Oklahoma or Ohio State if his career would have been different.

Very, very little chance.

If you're a ****up at one spot, odds are, you're just a ****up.

Idk I think he was frustrated with the offense here and who his QB’s were. Guy was **** near open every single play and Rosier, Perry, and Williams would miss him consistently. Richt and Enos should have got him the ball 10-15 times a game.

Anyways, I should probably stop talking about him lol. It’s over and done with and time to move on to the current roster.

I don’t get how you go from lighting up Louisville one week to looking like a grammar school QB against FIU.

Stop it, OP. He was part of what Mario has been trying to fix since he's been here. Lost the game to the Gators; dropped a bomb by Rozier (the best QB in the modern era till last season based on wins) that hit him in both hands against Clemson in the ACC Title that would have given us momentum while we were still in it. Instead, we short punted, and Clemson took over.

One of the most overrated players, period. . Quits on the team, measures at 5’9 170 at the combine, tests as the 50th receiver, doesn’t get drafted, finishes his college career averaging 28 catches - 440 yards - 2.67 TDs a season, and he’s still talked about here like he was a dude. …all to go along with his zero registered NFL stats.

I think many of you are misremembering.

Yes, and Shaq Quarterman.

I never understood why we are harder on the guys who actually show up and make plays for us, just because they aren’t as talented as the HOFers that came before them.

Shaq was just so bad in space. That whiff against GT in overtime. So bad.

The best WR in the last 15 years was Ahmon Richards… and it is not close. To bad he couldn’t stay healthy! That 2017 offense was loaded with a subpar QB and an OC that wasn’t great! Defense backed it iOS out but… O struggled!

At the end of the year, Richards out, Walton out, Herndon out

Can't wait for the Latwan Anderson thread.
