Regular or golden? Doesn't matter. They don't belong in anything except picadillo, where they should be picked out before consumption.Idk if you know this but this is a message board. **** I think someone could get 5 pages on a thread about raisins.
But he did quit on his high school team and UM. Upbringing or not that's a fact. Generational wealth opportunity and he couldn't get out of his own head. Some of yall take a statement so personal you create scenarios in your head making it sound way worse, like he wished death upon the man.Don’t wanna judge him personally but at the same time say he’s a quitter. And yea maybe he did but give him a bit of slack. The guy had a really hard upbringing and personal life. He has a lot of personal issues. A lot of people in his situation have come up a lot shorter and done worse with no real role models to look up to. Knowing many from that part of St. Louis, lots don’t get out alive or without being incarcerated. You talk about some people from a place of such privilege man
Zion "the turnstile" Nelson is #1 reason.
Not fair to him, but #facts
Nobody cares bruh. Foh with all that. He's a quitter and didnt have the makings of a great. You want to feel sorry for him go write him a personal letter.Don’t wanna judge him personally but at the same time say he’s a quitter. And yea maybe he did but give him a bit of slack. KJ Osborne was a legit NFL talent that produced in college. Jeff Thomas is a very poor man's Travis Benjamin who quit on his team. This thread is ridiculous.yall saw the best possible outcome for Jeff Thomas in Jacolby George and most of yall dont like Jacolby.
the glazing of Jeff Thomas on this board has always been wild. Mike Harley was a superior player when he was here pretty significantly. Thought yall would have understood that more when WR2 from SUNY-Buffalo showed up and made everyone look like ****.
Shouts to KJ Osborne.
What's the excuse for FSU?I don't get what makes people think so poorly of dugans in his time here. Do I think he was great or even above average, not really I suppose. I could make the argument for above average. Won't get into his room being sabotaged by another staff member but injuries and oc decisions were his biggest issues. He brought in some talent. Only one of which possibly two played at a good level and one was on trajectory to be a first rounder in ahmmon. Worst wr coach we ever had and it's not even a dispute was stumble****.
What does his time here have to do with there? Since you're going into that will you also go into Louisville or will you just stick to what's convenient towards your argument? Never would've figured that would come from you...What's the excuse for FSU?
Who was undermining him there?
We go into LVille no problem, what did he do at LVille? What does his time here have to do with there? Since you're going into that will you also go into Louisville or will you just stick to what's convenient towards your argument? Never would've figured that would come from you...
For fielding fair catches, yes.Braxton Berrios was our best punt returner in the last 10 years and it isn't even close
He, much like Thomas, was soft headed but not to the same degree. He wasn't bad but he wasn't good either. Even with good coaching he doesn't become much more than what he became.I would argue that Jarren Williams wasn't bad, just had bad coaching, especially considering that he was only a freshman. How much was really expected of him?
By all records, Harley, was s hard worker.I understand that JT was a head case, but wasn’t it documented that Harley was also very ****y and made fun of Restrepo for going as hard as he did in practice? I forgot where I heard it, but I recall, Harley was not always going 100% in practice and gave new guys like Restrepo a hard time. I just recall watching AA practice clips of Harley and not seeing the same drive in practice clips here.
Harley broke records here, but I always believed he had another gear that he never achieved here.
He broke records as a freshman, but I understand that fans get in their feelings and are impatientHe, much like Thomas, was soft headed but not to the same degree. He wasn't bad but he wasn't good either. Even with good coaching he doesn't become much more than what he became.
FIFY. I agreeHe broke a record as a freshman, but I understand that fans overestimate single games and stamp kids for greatness based off a single game.
Dude obviously had mental health problems. This the type of kid you have talk to a sports psychologist twice a week because he is a troubled soul. **** shame though. Kid had that Devin Hester quickness, acceleration, COD.they did a documentary on JT's high school, '89 Blocks' (or something like that). It really foreshadowed what was to come with him at Miami
I'll never forget the scene when he... (ahem), stepped away from football, and his high school coach said to the rest of the team, "Hey, if you guys want him back to win state, fine. But I'm done with this guy. But it's your call."
I was like... sheesh!!
Exactly. Harley was awful until his Senior year. Like you said, he was undersized and lacked a traditional wr skill set. There was really nothing special about him that made him stand out. That 2020 season started out rough for him, but he did turn it around and ended up having an outstanding season. Probably exceeded most of our expectations. As a 5th year senior in 2021, he also performed well.I don't remember this about Mike Harley at all. I remember the exact opposite, actually. As an underclassman, he was undersized and lacked a lot of the traditional WR skillset. I think he willed his way into the main rotation solely bc of his work ethic. If anyone remembers that 2020 season with Dee Wiggins and Mark Pope where the WR room was plagued with the dropsies and so much underacheivment that Rob Likens threatened to start benching guys, Harley was the only guy who responded and upped his level of play. I'm surprised to hear that Restrepo stuff.
