Jeff Thomas

I don't understand how people think Thomas's talent was being wasted. The offense sucked, but this kid was the feature of the offense. He was literally the biggest bright spot. If anything it was helping him that he shined in this offense.

He was coached by a group of incompetent azzholes who refused to give him the ball and called him a cancer.

He did the right thing for himself at the time. Getting away from a group of toxic amateur coaches was in his best interest.

But, if he has the option, he should return. I have a feeling Manny would know **** well this is the type of homerun threat you feed the football.

It's immaterial. As far as we know, he's already filled out his transfer papers. He'd have to wait a year regardless, as he's now a member of the University of Illinois football team now.

Thomas isnt sitting out a year. If he cant get a waiver he'll go to some FCS school.

He's absolutely entering the 2020 draft

Honestly it should be fairly easy to understand. The offense sucked monkey balls and it caused his talent to be wasted. Those screens to Cager and Langham were dumb. Those should have gone to Jeff, Harley, Pope... You wanna get the ball to your quick and shifty guys in space. Not your 6’5 slow WRs. Secondly the offense lacked creativity. Pre-Snap motions and Jet Sweeps would have done a lot for creating mismatches with the weapons we have. ****, we coulda even gave him a couple carries out of the backfield

the real locker room cancer is gone now and Thomas was in his name but not the last name

Kid got kicked off his HS team for the exact same issues.

Richt sucked but lets not pretend like he made Thomas be a punk *****.

It's a shame given his talent. IL version of Van Cowan

Not disputing it, but what sort of waiver could he get to play at Illinois next year? He played almost his entire second season for Miami.

hardship waiver. framing it as tranferring to his home state school because he wanted to be closer to his daughter
