Jeff Thomas sticking with Illinois. NOT!

Yeah and he locked it up. Also my faith on mods on 24/7 is 50-50
Also make no sense after what Enos said this morning.
The odds of Jeff Thomas staying at any school for two more years are very low, so if he wants to put film on tape that's going to help him be drafted, then Miami makes the most sense. Being close to his daughter being the reason makes sense, but I just don't see him getting the waiver to play immediately so he'd be sitting out up there.

So what exactly is his deal? Is it really family-related issues like being close to his child? Is he a drama queen? Does he quit when he doesn't get his way? Did he just butt heads with Dugans? What's the reason nobody thinks he'll even finish his career somewhere?

He is too talented to not be on the field somewhere.

Just wanted to pass a few notes along on Jeff Thomas.
*** One of the reasons why Manny Diaz is considering bringing back wide receiver Jeff Thomas is it would show some goodwill to the other players, many of whom would like to see him return.
*** Although players would like to see him return, Thomas quit on his team last year and if he does return, he will have to pay the consequences. He will have to earn his way back to good graces with the team.
*** One thing Thomas will have to get sorted if he does return is making sure he attends all workouts on time, which he struggled with in the past especially the early morning workouts, which he was not a fan of.
*** Even if he does return to the team and pays the consequences in the offseason, he could still be facing a potential suspension in missing the 2019 opener against Florida.

Basically its up to Jeff if he wants to go through that and if he doesnt he will pick sitting out a year closer to home
