Jeff Thomas declares

Also, this is not necessarily a bad move for jt4, that man has put enuff on tape to justify his decision, while the stats dont dont back his decision, the film does not lie, what he did against Lsu alone last year proved he has elite talent, and when scouts turn on the film, the smarts are not looking at just stats, jt4 with better qb play and more discipline, which as a pro, if you not discipline, you wont get paid, jt4 has the talent to definitely make it, one more year here, yes, stat wise he may have improved or maybe not, but with the uncertainty of the offense and qb next year, might as well go and get professional coaching and p rofessional checks instead of hanging around waiting for UM to get their act together, so congratulations to jt4 for helping to put himself in this position, hope he excels at the next level!

If a dopey young dude with no money all his life suddenly starts making $2k per week he’ll just spend $3k per week. He’ll lease a nice car, customize it with a beautiful set of rims and suspension kit. He’ll rent a nice place to live. Then he’ll get himself in debt quickly.

Odds are he’ll wind up cut fairly quickly even if he makes a practice squad on potential alone. Then he’ll be in a horrible pickle financially.

In the event he does overcome all the odds stacked against him right now and makes some real coin, the odds are still heavily stacked against him holding onto any of it. It’s tough out there for new money to succeed long term.
People making $40k can't understand how people making $80k can have money trouble.

People making $80k can't understand how people making $160k can have money trouble.

Problem is with an athlete there are plenty of people willing to "help".
