Venables is following the Bob Stoops model I see. That’s a good hire.

Idk how Venables will recruit compared to Riley and I have a lot of respect for Alex Grinch (their former DC)

But the gap between Venables to Grinch as a DC is a lot greater than the gap of Riley to Lebby as an OC - I think Oklahoma may have upgraded if they can recruit at a level consistent or better than they have been.

Have heard Venables didn't agree with a lot that Dabo did like not utilizing the portal and not giving him free reign to offer some guys he wanted, and the staff makeup.. it'll be interesting to see how it plays out for him.
