JC Jackson to also visit

Tifwiw but jhova said he was with luke and edge james was around and they were talking and edge said he was trying to get jackson to flip to miami. He said edge believes miami is a better fit and uf is more of a system type team and there players don't pan out in the nfl. Also i did hear that the staff would like to add 1 more cb so he could be it.

Immokalee should be exclusively for THE U. I don't know if this kid is all that, but might be worth it to help bring place that has sent great talen to THE U back behind the wall. Plus it is always nice to rob the gator.

Would love to have this kid. Seems very athletic and can play multiple positions

This dude crazy!:ibisroflmao:

I just realized who he reminds me of--a young version of that strange lunatic Brother Theodore who used to be on David Letterman back in the '80's.

Here's the thing about J.C, he was a sophomore when I was a Sr on the team so he's definitely improved since I've been there. Kid is an explosive athlete that has played on Offense his entire football career. He was one of the Pop Warner superstars that everyone knew would be a stud. I remember back before my SR year I was talking to his dad at the park and he was saying J.C was going wherever they would put the ball in his hands so it's surprising to see he's now committed as a CB. During conditioning one day we were doing 1 on 1 races and Mackensie Alexander and JC were neck and neck 3 times in a row. Bottom line, kids an all star with the ball in his hands, very raw as a defender.

(J.C.) was on the field and Coach (Al) Golden ran up to him and told him they need him. They said they are only taking one more defensive back and they are holding the spot for J.C. After the game, Coach Golden sent him a message on Facebook. They really want him."
-Does his relationship with the former Miami standouts help UM's chances of flipping him from his Florida commitment?
"He has rapped with EJ,"(Edgerrin James) "I'm sure he has mentioned Miami to him, but at the end of the day, it's his decision. I don't want him to have pressure saying it was his dad's decision or someone else."
-will take his official visit to Gainesville when the Gators play Florida State
-On OV to Minnesota two weeks ago, "The trip was very nice," "It was more than I expected it to be. I didn't know the Big 10 was like that. The coaches supported me and showed a lot of love."
-Clemson, Georgia, and USC, along with Miami, are still coming after him, but he is solid with Florida
-"I think we are going to beat FSU," "I want to go up there and ball with those boys. (Cornerback Vernon) Hargreaves is having a good year. I'm proud of them. I trust the coaches at Florida and I like the defense. I'm 100 percent."

Interesting but maybe he means cornerback. I would believe, unless Lockley is their guy, that we would take another S.

2014 Depth Chart (Safety)

Jenkins (Jr)
Bush (Jr)
Carter (So)
Lockley (Fr)
Mayes (Fr)

(Bethel and Turner appear to be CB, Gray is starting out at WR).

Lockley will be a tight end, Mayes I still think is a cb and we will see with Gray

I dont know seems like Lockley will only be able to get on the field at safety.... and Mayes would have to play safety if Miami is taking JC, Bethel, and Turner at corner imo.

i'd rather have Gray at receiver b/c he is going to be ridiculous to bring down on those WR screen plays.... dont think he wants to play defense at all.

Lockley wont play as a safety unless he is absolutely sick especially with the group in 2015 coming in. If he goes to tight end he'll wait a year but after Beau/Clive leave it's there for the picking much like the safety spot but less talent. JC to me is a cb too so if he comes then I agree with Mayes but until then ill stick Mayes at cb. Gray I agree with you there as far as how explosive he is so I would agree with him as a wr

I see him as a LB or TE but that is why I said the part in bold. As for Mayes, I think at 6'1 180 he will be tried at safety first.

Ehhh, Mayes has great size for a cb too and he's going to gain weight regardless so the key is where do they see him best and I just dont know of him loving to hit like i would want my safety to do. Lockley, other then that one time Hurlie mentioned him maybe playing safety I haven't read anything about it since and even then it didnt make sense to me

We don't have a safety commit this year or the previous year besides Carter. Deon is a 3 and out kid if he stays healthy. All we would have is Carter, Jenkins and Freshman, Lockley 2nd year here.

Mayes is going to be a CB at Miami from what I've seen. He's been pretty lockdown in his coverage and can stick someone, but isn't very physical.

That's what I have always seen and he can be similar to Gunter but I still have never seen the guy want to really hit
