We've been absolutely getting bodied as of late but this is really dumb. Kid is a fringe 4 star prospect with a good offer list and just got his ranking two months ago.

Ill take the better athlete over the higher ranked all day everyday. Check my posts about Brandon Innis, when all the SO FL insiders were talking about how big of a dog he was. No great speed, no great lateral quickness, no great leaping ability. So where was this 5 star hype coming from?

This recruitment reminds me of the Kellen Wiley Jr recruitment. And I would add that Tucker retweeted the offer so this definitely is a recruitment to monitor.

Is there a need to over-spend for a high school LB? We know we'll spend what needs to be spent on OL and DL out of high school but I don't know if Mario feels that way about a high school LB.

I don't believe we're recruiting him as a LB. I think we have him as a Edge. I think we are recruiting Henderson as a LB. The same as none of our Center recruits actually play much center in HS. Not coincidentally to me, we are struggling recruiting these spots the most.
Get me 2 of Mayfield, Randle or Proctor and I am extremely happy. I personally have some others maybe higher we aren't even recruiting. Like normal, we are sneak recruiting so I still hope some surprising OV's pop up soon.
I have never seen Henderson in our class.

Except Toney was a composite 4 star and only a 3 star on 1 site. Plus he was a kid who reclassified up which typically affects the rankings. Clearly, still massively underrated but not a 3 star.

Think he may be an edge but the traits he has, and one thing the staff can do is teach. He has all the other things you want, now get him and teach him more. Could be a steal for sure
