Jayce Johnson

5. QB Jayce Johnson (2027)

Fast Houston didn’t just have playmakers on defense though, because 2027 QB Jayce Johnson was slinging the ball all over the yard on Saturday afternoon. The 6-foot-3, 205-plus pound signal caller out of Lowndes (GA) showed all the physical tools to stand out in a big way on Day 1. The velocity and ability to get the ball up and out quickly allowed him to throw for eight touchdowns in three games. His ability to push the ball vertically as efficiently as he distributes the football underneath allowed his team to consistently move the ball down the field on Saturday. He had two interceptions that he wishes he could have back, but all in all, Johnson proved he was arguably the top quarterback to step on the field on Day 1.

Neimann will probably reclass but I'd still have offer this kid asap. He would be receptive
How old is Jayce and is he working with a QB coach?

If he's in his correct class and only just starting to scratch the surface, there's a legit chance this thread gets bumped this time next year and we're debating over why didn't offer one of the top QB recruits in the nation.

He's only 16 and yes he is. Just started. That's one of the reasons for the move to GA. I can tell you at this stage he is better than DJ was in the same exact system.
