Javeon Campbell is a fast rising DE with OVs locked in for Bama, UGA and O$U. Highlighted by @DMoney as a recruit to watch in the March 3. 2024 bank. Miami is trying to get involved in this recruitment.


- One name that Miami loves: Frankfort (KY) EDGE Javeon Campbell. He’s a 6’5, 250 converted basketball player that had 14.5 sacks in his first year of football and is blowing up. He has OVs set up to Alabama, Georgia and Ohio State, but the Canes will be getting him on campus soon.​

Love the offer as you can see the natural ability, natural strength, athleticism and explosiveness. Seems like a great candidate for the Field DE position in Guidry's scheme that is basically a combination of a 5techDE and a 3TDT. I believe @WestEndZone said it was a 4T. It's difficult to really tell just how athletic, explosive and agile a recruit is just by watching a highlight tape so Campbell may develop into a true 3T. Regardless I do love the tools this young man has and judging by his offer/visit list, so do some big time programs.
 
We're in the Top 9 and were offer #12. His flood of offers have mostly come in over the last month or two. We'll see if we get an OV or make the final 5

@DMoney in the 5/10 Bank says he's got 5* talent. Still running under the radar even though he's up to a 4* now

- DE Javeon Campbell (Frankfort, KY) is ranked as a mid-four star, but he is an elite, five-star type talent in my book. He's 6'5, 265-pounds, is the all-time leading scorer for his high school hoops team and only started playing football last year (14.5 sacks). He just canceled his Ohio State visit and is now visiting Miami on May 30th weekend. This is a name to know for the Canes. He's also visiting Georgia, Alabama, Auburn and hometown Kentucky.​
