Wilson is more talented than Bain and Mesidor. If he has their drive and motivation, could be a top 5 pick next year

I will say from a pro perspective maybe scouts few wilson more favorably than mesidor.. heck coming into last season many didn't have the same views on mesidor on this very forum (most won't admit now but the post are there pre season).. also based on age and measureables it's possible.. Bain didn't have soph season anyone expected but both played at such a high level.. that even mesidor age and both measureables are enough to hold back based on being such a force at both run D and pass rushing..

Wilson has to bring it more in run stopping but pass rushing is valued at such a high level of he does that wit his entire profile he will be on same track

Right, his athletic profile does fit what the nfl wants with edge rushers but he’s not as good from what he’s shown so far

That pregame showcasing by JT looks good ........is effective......and shows off his players for fans who love this activity.......
JT is also the Coach who deflects from himself and centers on each player to show their talent.....he is an awesome Coach and we need to treasure the time he has here at our U as a huge asset.

Agreed. In an industry full of egos, a guy who absolutely should feel above everyone does his job with humility and from all accounts works his *** off. Lucky to have him.

Just cant see him leaving his pregnant wife or when the baby is born a young child, or making them move to somewhere new. Especially when you consider he has the money, he doesnt need to move up aggressively through the coaching ranks to survive monetarily.

I saw this post and said he’s probably staying, unless the Dolphins come offering.

I could see a FAU/FIU maybe offering a HC position in the future. But, yeah as long as the Dolphins don’t offer I think he’s here for a while.

Got to stand on Aquinas sideline when they played Edgewater for state championship in Daytona. I was interested to see if JT was just a name who was there to help STA get kids or was he a legit hs DC, and this was before he was even in the conversation to coach at Miami. His plan, adjustments, the way he dealt with his players were all solid. On a side note, CIS favorite diva Joy Taylor was there watching her nephews.
