Jarrid Williams will Transfer to Miami

So. interesting.... It seems he was not happy at all about the news getting out on twitter a couple of weeks ago. Someone reported that Coach Field reached out to DBC to delete his tweets... It was because they caused a problem....

247 podcast talked about it. Miami felt good all along but it also gave others more time to be in his ear. It's been a waiting game for him to decide to finally go public.

Yep, and DBC's earlier tweets got that bear killed.

DBC needs to STFU - for a change. If he's not ****ing off coaches - he's ****ing off recruits - and if he's not ****ing off recruits - he's ****ing off Animal Control cause they gotta go shoot some poor bear.

So DBC had a legit scoop from an inside source?

Finally, we May have found the guy to replace Pete.
He sure did. Coach Fields asked Danny to delete his tweets about JW committing and Danny complied.

can someone who knows what they are talking about tell me why this kid isnt gonna end up as our 3rd string center like tommy kennedy was last time we nabbed a big grad trsfr
So you need an explanation why a two year starter at the FBS level is much better than a guy who never played FBS football at all? Williams played in the AAC which is honestly similar if not better than the ACC coastal. This isn’t a project. He’s immediately our best lineman.

Is Williams projected to play RT? I'm reading much about him playing LT for the Canes but most of his career has been on the right side...

Vegas has pushed Canes win total up to 9....#no excuses

Manny has to solve his Bye-Week opponent!

I have read from the reporters RT. Only people saying LT are fans. If he is RT then who is left? Campbell? I doubt it’s Zion or Scaife. Scaife seems best in the right side also. Maybe we got with this lineup.

LT Campbell
LG Who knows Clark, Reed, Tarore, Donaldson
Center Gaynor
RG Scaife
RT Williams

That right side is great but left side is worrisome

Williams played RT at Houston. Where he plays at Miami will depend on how comfortable the staff is with the rest of the tackles. Ideally, you’d keep him at RT where he’s most comfortable but if they don’t have anyone they can trust on the left side, he’s going to play there.

I fully expect LT, that’s his natural spot Houston just had a three year starter.

I’m happy for Zion and John Campbell learn from and experience quality guy and see what the future holds.
This is huge. There isn't a championship caliber program anywhere who keeps plugging in Freshman and Sophs at offensive line (I understand here and there you get an exceptional talent). These kids have to get in the strength and conditioning program and wait their turn. This isn't high school anymore where they are bigger than everyone they are blocking.
